Welcome Bel!

Thanks to BCP Thriving Communities funding through Dorset Community Foundation, we have appointed Annabel Babbington - also known as Bel - as our new Cornerstone Patch Gardening Lead. We are forever thankful to all Laura gave to the Patch, and as her other work commitments increased, The Power House and students miss her. But we are so very thankful for Bel.

Having just moved into Hamworthy, Bel brings a wealth of experience, including being a Forest Schools Practitioner, and has saved the Patch this growing season.

We can now offer more regular Saturday Social Work Party sessions, building to a weekly offer. Muddy Boots can also have more times at the Patch.

As well as growing food and flowers, and weeding, work progresses to start the beautyfing and reworking the wider Patch space to create a more accessible and . A place of serenity that improves wellbeing while providing an opportunity to learn about sustainability and gardening.

Bel has created a presentation after listening to Alix share the vision for the more of the Patch. We are so very thankful for you Bel!

Bel joined us at just the right time so she could make this year’s batch of Cornerstone Cordial: Elderflower 💖
