Dorset Community Foundation and the High Sheriff of Dorset Visit

On 20th June, Dorset Community Foundation’s Ellie and Gareth with Janet came with the High Sheriff of Dorset Anthony Woodhouse to see our new hub and visit Cornerstone Patch. Dorset Community Foundation has enabled The Power House to be where it is today, and more importantly, has meant that the community has had some of what it needs through our Arts Wellbeing Sessions and Cornerstone Patch.

After a whistle stop outline of The Power House journey and vision for our ultimate destination on the power station site, we joined our Cornerstone Patch Lunch Club with Cornerstone Academy students, and volunteers Jo and Elaine. Our guests loved seeing the raised beds and a nearly completed irrigation system installed.

Back in the hub, Bel shared the big vision for Cornerstone Patch. She created a wonderful presentation that perfectly captured all Alix had shared with her. We are so thankful for Bel.
