There are a number of different ways that you can fundraise and donate to The Power House Poole, from simply shopping online to supporting specific projects. Please scroll below to find out how you can support us.

Paypal Charity Donation Page

We are delighted to announce that have set up a Paypal Charity Donation page to help make it easier for you to donate directly to us.

If you’re paying for Youth Project Membership, please remember to state that in the reference.

You can request your donation to be allocated to a specific project, by including the project in your reference.

Please do remember to Gift Aid us by providing your email through the PayPal link. And if you want your donation to go to a specific pot, please include an project abbreviation in the reference. Or email alix@thepowerhousepoole.org to let us know.

We are a registered with the HMRC, and, as we are a registered charity, we have Gift Aid set up. That means if you do regularly donate to The Power House Poole or donate through any of our funding platforms then for every £1 you give to The Power House Poole, we can claim an extra 25p in tax to help fund further projects.

Once you provide your email through the Paypal donate, then our Treasurer will be in touch to make the Gift Aid arrangements.

Co-op Local Community Fund

Thank you to everyone who chose The Power House for the Co-op Local Community Fund. An amazing £1,713.81 was raised and will go towards our Arts Wellbeing, Youth Project, and Hamworthy Growing Together community food growing projects.

Last year, saw us start to bring forward “Cornerstone Patch”, a community food growing space at Cornerstone Academy. Green Therapy is naturally good for wellbeing, and growing together even more so. “Cornerstone Patch” is giving us an opportunity to engage Youth Project Members and other Cornerstone students in gardening, and connecting with other community members and organisations.

Our growing project will improve peoples' wellbeing, while supplying those on low income with fresh food.

This money raised is helping set up nine raised beds on top of the old filled swimming pool. Check out our News for progress.

Each ticket is £1, and when you choose to support The Power House, 60% of your ticket price comes to us, with 10% going to other charities in the BCP area.

You shop and Amazon gives!

Each time you shop at www.smile.amazon.co.uk, Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to us at no additional or hidden cost.

It is simple to use:

Then start your Amazon shopping as normal.

Once you have shopped, The Power House Poole will receive 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees).

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for The Power House - Poole with easyfundraising?

Regular Donations

Did you know that you can also set up regular donations to The Power House Poole? Regular donations will go towards our core costs that help us with the developing the vision and driving forward to set up a community hub, while we run our pilot projects as well as helping towards basic costs.

Or you can choose a specific project to support.

If you would like to donate to us on a regular basis then please fill out the Contact Us form. We can help you through the setting up process and we will ask you to fill in a declaration form.
